The Time of Interest Section is where user can narrow down a search by specifying a span of time in which he/she is interested.
This time span can be specified in one of two ways by clicking on the appropriate button:
By choosing this option the user must enter the Start and End Times desired in the following format: YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS. The hour, minute, second portion does not not have to be entered but the user must specify at least the year, month, and day.
NOTE: WIPE uses UTC (Universal Time, Coordinated) time, also known as GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) or Zulu Time. This is the time standard by which the rest of the world time is set. UTC time is 4 hours ahead of Eastern Daylight Time.
Example: To restrict a search between March 10,1999 to April 10, 2000 the user will enter 1999-03-10 in the START box and 2000-04-10 in the END box.
Choosing this option lets the user specify a time window relative to the current time. This time window could be in the past (LAST) or future (NEXT), and in increments of months, weeks, days, hours, or minutes.
Example: To search for items specific to the last 2 weeks, choose LAST and WEEK(S) from the drop down box, and enter 2 in the text box. To search for items from present time to 3 days in the future (such as Weather Forecasts), choose NEXT and DAY(S) from the drop down box and enter 3 in the text box.
